Default I'd like to see this: Busse Battle Mistress vs. Natchez Bowie

for example: what would happen if a Busse Battle Mistress clashed head-on with a Natchez Bowie? In other words, if you put one in a vice and hit it with the other, blade-edge to blade-edge....

my guess: the NB would end up cracked or shattered... the BM, merely dented...

but that would be an expensive test!

Yes, the Natchez edge is certainly brittle, especially considering the very flat angle of the grind. The San Mai construction is interesting only if the inner layer is much harder, thus brittle, and the only steel that combines extreme sharpness and toughness is INFI. The Cold Steel Natchez design is awesome, the Busse INFI steel is awesome, the combination would result a great knife. But the actual hyper expensive brittle edge Natchez isn't great for practical use. As Nutnfancy was stating in his video about it, it's mainly a collector piece.
